Took this as an online course last summer and I swear I had to watch 14 hours of lectures each week. We had class twice a week and each lecture's set of videos was 7 hours long. Will NEVER take a course with this prof again.
Very engaging and taught the material very well he made it seem real and explained lots of concepts in a very easy manner . Highly rate him
DO NOT TAKE ANY COURSE WITH HIM. Most boring prof ever, doesn't know how to grade properly, doesn't care about his students, and is clearly miserable. Even is you like history I would avoid taking it..
He makes the lectures tougher than expected. The grading is terrible.
The best history lectures you will ever hear. Prof. Bunn is an incredible and dynamic orator, with a lot of passion and heart. Not a single dry moment in his class, I cannot recommend enough.
WONDERFUL professor! reallly loved having him for the semester. He cares about the topics and it is very clear. He is a very gifted Professor and I had a wonderful expereince and would take his classes again if I could!
Main thing to note is he marks hard. You'll get really good feedback after first assignment, but won't get for the exam, in which there are 2 for like 40%. Lots of lectures, enjoyable, but long. Plus readings each week that if referenced, your work will be graded better, but even then this is no bird, you got to be ok with getting 60s & 70s.
Amazing professor with asynchronous lectures which are very engaging. So much of the content is presented in a manner that he wants you to develop your own thoughts and analysis on the suject matter. The analysis assignments were not easy so be prepared to put in a lot of work for top grades. He is a tough grader but gives superb feedack.
Dr. Bunn has some extremely great lectures that are clear and engaging to follow. However, he is a very harsh marker when it comes to assignments. Furthermore, his assignments are often confusing to follow and can often feel pointless and difficult. This is especially the case with the historical article analysis assignments.
