The best prof ever. He is is such a caring and passionate person! I love him!
People say Gabor is monotone and boring, but I find the guy super sweet. He adds real life stories and experiences to lift the mood of his lectures and does relate to the course. The cute thing about his lectures is that he adds sound effects to his 'out-dated' slides but although you don't use the textbook the course is relatively easy
Professor Forgacs is very knowledgeable and had many years of experience related to the industry. His class is very basic and easy. He always tell us stories and tried to relate his experience with the course concept. The only thing to complain about is the fact that we could no pick our own partners for the group project. Overall Great Prof!
Get to know him, and you guys will be solid for the entire semester. Let him know if you are struggling or need any help, and he will do everything he can to accommodate you. Super chill.
Most monotone prof at Ryerson. You will 100% fall asleep if the lecture is longer than 1 hour. He can talk about the most boring topic on earth for hours and it will never be tested on. Powerpoints that he provides are different than the one he uses in class. Slides are almost the same as the entire textbook. Super boring 15-18 page report.
Great prof and fairly easy if you do the readings :)
Barely attended 8am classes, lectures are definitely not required to pass. His lectures are too boring, monotonous, and early. To do well in this course, you will need to have common sense about a hotel's facilities (or read the textbook). Powerpoint slides are 50% reliable as the tests require textbook knowledge. Exams are all MC :)
Dr. Forgacs is the man. You may fall asleep in his course due to his monotonous speech, and you may find him boring. But, this is the gentleman that wrote the textbook yet won't force you to purchase it. This is the man who assigns projects that reflect real life events. Highly recommended! Oh, and don't forget to bring caffeine.
Gabor is a great educator. He made RM a very enjoyable course and it was quite interesting. Lectures are a bit dry at times but when analyzing cases the discussion is quite fun. He makes you think! He wrote the textbook so when it comes to the exam, you know what to do!
Great Prof. Just viewing his powerpoint presentations and attending class will definitely not help you. To do well, you must read the textbook - everything in the midterm was from the textbook. The class and lecture notes barely cover specific topics from the book.
