Eugene Lim

I have no idea why professor Lim has such a bad rating on here. He should have much higher ratings. If you attend all his classes and take notes, aside from the odd cases, you don't even really need the text book. Of course you'll need the textbook for the open book exams. He covers everything in class in a way that you'll remember later.

Looks like Hero from the show heroes. Always in a jolly mood. If you go to class take notes and ace the test if not skim the book and place some book marks for important info and ace the test

Really good prof. Really clear on exam content and everything you learn is on the exam. Exams were open book, but this does not guarantee a good grade. Still important to study considering there is a time limit. He made this class enjoyable and easy. He talks kind of funny but it's endearing.

Speaks clearly and goes over information well. If you can read the text and understand it well, no need to go to class. Tests are easy and exam is okay. Just read the book and you'll do fine. Easy A

he never does a review, he doesnt give feedback

Clearly describes law cases and the circumstances which led to creating the legislative acts discussed during class. Getting a good mark in his class requires attendance and attention, as well as asking for clarification during the lecture if a concept isn't understood.

He's comes off as rude, very incosistent, doesn't give his students the benefit of the doubt. He makes the course harder then it should be. He get annoyed if you ask for help. And he sets deadlines based on his schedule NOT his students. RYERSON FIRE HIM!!!!

DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE. It will stress u out + frustrate u. Prof. is inconsistent continually changing due dates for assigns/participation. Point of Dist Ed. is convenience, fitting school into ur schedule. This course makes it nearly impossible. Was not helpful. Lots of material to learn.
