This prof is so organized and his lecture slides alone are enough. They are amazing and its like you dont even have to take your own notes. The exam questions are so fair and always are from the lecture problems so u just have to study those really well. Easiest A ever
Super easy tests, great conversationalist, would highly recommend to take. . Can't in good conscience give higher than 3 stars because he's not good at teaching.
I have had Sattar for so many courses he is my absolute favourite prof ever. his exams r so fair, if you study, you get an amazing mark. his lectures r a bit slow but not mandatory but if you go he emphasizes what you will see on the exam. Fav proffffffff
Teaches in a way that's easy to understand. Fair grading and approachable if you need help. Overall a good professor.
Lectures were rather dull but I preferred him over Dr. Kirischian as the latter would go on tangents during lectures. The midterm/exam questions are almost the same short-answer style questions every year so study off of those for your tests.
Sattar's teaching is good and he has great slides. If you pay attention in class or study well, you will be fine in his class. His midterm was also pretty easy and he tends to use old/similar questions from past midterms. He also provides lab demos which are helpful. He is sometimes moody because he hates this course but overall, pretty good.
Hes a decent teacher albeit a bit boring as his voice is extremely monotone. He can also be a bit hard to understand at times due to his accent. However, all this is negated due to the easy midterms and exams. He literally uses the exact same questions as past exams. Be willing to put in just a bit of effort and his class should be a breeze.
If it's for 612? take this class with Sattar. If it's for 538 run as fast as you can because he hates that course with a passion and will make it hell. For 612, he was great. Used old notes but they were written very well and he taught the concepts well. His exams were also not difficult as long as you went over tutorial questions.
