Annie MacDonell

I've never felt so discouraged by a professor during my four years of university. She can teach the course content fairly well and she's an organized professor, so I'll give her credit where it's due. But, her attitude was so poor and there were numerous times when I walked out of class crying. I wish I could re-do my year with a different prof.

Really interesting assignments. Doesn't give enough time to do them, but they are still worth making an effort. Has opened up my eyes to a lot of different artists and approaches to photography. She kept me from dropping out of the program. Very unique.

EXTREMELY TALENTED AND HELPFUL. WOULD HAVE LIKED HER AS OUR HYBRID INSTRUCTOR

She's different than most instructors and the projects are different than people usually do, so people sometimes don't understand how to read her. Just open your mind up and it'll work out. EXPERIMENT! Her class is challenging but really inspiring.

Does not tend to understand student's work. Poor public speaker (does not make eye contact, low voice volume), and not sympathetic. Class is structured so that we learn how to do projects, the week before they are due! How does that make sense?

Super lady. Very approachable. Seems to care alot. Very knowledgeable.
