Hes awesome. easy going..

David was an awesome Illustration teacher! While many thought his outline was too broad it really made sense to me. He basically let us do whatever we wanted to creatively, which is fantastic for fashion students. Easily my favorite teacher and class for fashion design!! As long as you show effort in your work you will get a good mark.

He rules. Super nice guy that relates to his students and tries to make projects fun but also free for creation. Don't expect him to baby your projects tho, he really likes to give breathing room. He marks you based on how much you take his criticism into consideration. Be sure to experiment in his class, he likes that :)

Worst friggen teacher i've had at Ryerson. Is the hardest marker and worst project explainer. He doesn't take his time to mark your work. Try and avoid him!

worse prof ever he marks everyone's project in class instead of taking his time like other professors who bring their students' work home to mark. he just glances at ur work for 2 minutes and gives a mark right away i hope no one chooses his class. he doesnt really give a**** how u do in class, he jus wants to have free time when he gets home

Weird but nice guy, ask for help and clarification alot because he knows what he likes and doesn't like. I found (grade-wise) it was better to go crazy then do something pretty because he doesn't find 'pretty' that interesting and keep up with process work as it counts!

Loved him! Had him for Digital Illustration and he is the man. Very laid back and very helpful with interesting insight and feedback.

Not useful at all. makes ridiculuos jokes in class. he tries to be fun but he really isnt. And your grades dont macth up at the end of the year! worst illustration teacher ever!
