Ethics was interesting class and a lot learned however he is very hard professor and lacks consistent grading criteria. He is not hesitant to fail students however chatting with him might help. To say the least this class felt a nightmare every time grades are released with inconsistent grading marking criteria
Ethics with an ethically dubious delivery. The course is an exercise of ethical challenge and exercise but fails to apply this pedagogy to grading and expectations. Time after time, he fails to address systemic gaps in his methods and delivery. Sometimes steadfast, others open. Sadly inept. Sweet at heart, sour in delivery.
Believes in a particular outdated planning process, words his exams trivially even though they could be interpreted differently. Isn't afraid to fail a student. No textbooks, but lots of readings. Class time is not utilized efficiently.
Abandon all hope, ye who takes this class. Highly disappointed with the quality of instruction. A red mark on the department.
In a class of his own. Teaching methods and materials (and ideas about society) are dated, testing method is lazy and likes a high failure rate. He is condescending and has a general disdain for students. Still teaching for his own sense of self-importance. Although an aberration, his employment reflects poorly on TMU. Disappointing.
Everything wrong with the profession. Proudly bigoted and self-centred. Singles out and embarrasses students for the most trivial reasons. Your class will depend entirely on his mood. You will spend the following 3 years unlearning what he tells you.
Not sure if the professor grades his assignments or if most grading is done through TAs, however little to NO feedback is provided alongside grades. This makes it very difficult to improve on follow up assignments! No announcements are made, aside from the occasional email regarding office hours. Very few additional resources really only lecture...
Hope that there is another professor teaching the class you plan to take, because he is probably the worst professor. He is NOT approachable when you need clarification. He acts like he cares about his students wanting to excel, but gives them no flexibility to do so. He'd rather prolong their struggles in his class, avoid him.
Professor Keeble in many ways embodies all that is wrong with the institution. He expects that you are already a planner, gives little direction, relishes in student failure, sometimes refuses to answers questions, and brags about his wealthy developer family. It was very hard to gain anything valuable from this course with Keeble as an advisor.
Lectures are dull. He can be funny at times. Doesn't tell you what he expects on assignment until very last minute.
