I was very excited and intrigued to take this class, but not anymore. Double standards in his marking and instructions, he is so ominous, if you want something to be done just say that. Unnecessary hard marker, he said this class is easy, yet that is untrue, it was my worst mark for no reason, not worth it for your GPA.
he was okay but super dry and confusing. the final was 10- 50 pages. "it's up to you" I NEED GUIDANCE. seems so lax and interested. these classes bring in random people so the attitudes are all over which doesn't help. he marks okay, its a bit all over but honestly start you stuff early and email like way in advance and you will slip away withan A
Wonderful professor! Course is content heavy and there were many assignments but no tests. His lectures were quite difficult to listen to because he did them outside to make things interesting since everything was virtual but overall, he really is passionate about his work and wants his students to succeed.
I didn't really watch the lectures or do the readings, but this class was extremely light and easy. Professor Gharabaghi really cares about his students, and ensures they are successful. In the online environment, he eliminated tests/quizzes/exams, and instead we had audio submissions worth 25%. Try your best, and this class will be an easy A.
I learned a lot in this class but I got really tired of the amount of papers and assignments we had to do which were very repetitive. He didn't always provide good information with regards to what he was looking for in the assignments but I luckily was able to learn quickly what he is looking for through trial and error.
very fun prof. online learning has been hard but he would post personable and interesting lectures on d2l. assignments were easy but fun, overall subject matter was very interesting.
The professor is really sweet, and is really passionate about his job and child and youth care. The assignments were a bit confusing at times so double check and triple check with everyone in your class and then the prof to make sure youre doing it right. Overall, hes a solid choice.
His lectures are really good. However, when it comes to his work he doesn't really explains what he wants. His assignments dates are super easy to miss because like a week in front of the due dates that's when he gives out the assignment information. His dates are all last minute as well. (Close to finals)
Honestly my favourite prof. He is the sweetest guy and puts a lot of effort into making online lectures interesting. No live classes, and you watch the lectures on your own time. Reasonable amount of work, and an amazing person.
Such a kind person, and professor! He's very knowledge about the field and has many personal stories to tell that make the lectures engaging to listen to. Assignment criteria can be a bit unclear but he responds to emails quickly when you ask a question and gives great feedback/advice. Assignments were graded a bit tough but overall, a great class.
