Sheila O'Neill

Prof Sheila is literally the best Communications Prof at Ryerson. Extremely accommodating, and clearly knowledgable in her field. She graded fairly on presentations. Show up to all lectures. Tips: Give good presentation outlines with photos and colours.

Honestly you just need to attend the class and you ll receieve a dece grade. The one's complaining about this prof did not show up to the classes. She goes off topic at times.. but hey ill deal with it for an A :D

Had this prof for a public speaking class & she's very passionate about public speaking so in that regard she's great - she doesn't confine you to one topic to speak about and for the most part, gives good feedback on your speeches. However, lectures are boring & we only used the textbook for the written midterm exam... for a public speaking class.

Presentations (3) are selecting your own topic and don't require much research if you are knowledgeable about your topic. Midterm was straight forward as it was common sense in my opinion. Must attend class and partipate in order for marks. Yes she does go off topic and waste time somewhat but you can easily get a high mark(as it's a trade)

Great professor, but you need to at least attend class to do well. 3 presentations and a midterm! EASY A+

The class is very easy but I wish I had taken a different prof. Minimum 1 hour a day was wasted listening to nothing course related. The presentations are exciting but thats thanks to the students. Don't expect to see anything posted on the course page.... nothing. Unclear grading criteria, too long, says you need the textbook but you don't.

Literally the worst prof I have ever taken. The class is easy yet can be easily covered in 2 hours instead of 3. She is unorganized and doesn't post any grades. She spends at least 1-1.5 hours talking about non-sense and complaining about the changing world. She is very forgetful and overall an ineffective and incompetent prof.

Great prof. nice and helpful respect by students give good feedback you can hand in your homework after due date. would take her class again.

Speaks and teaches at the speed of a snail....

The class was fun and I definitely learned a lot. She is very clear about her expectations and as long as you follow her instructions you will do well.
