Robert Gossage

Easily one of the best profs I've had. He taught the material in a way I loved and he made it enjoyable to the point I liked attending class at 8 am on Fridays. If you can take him for anything do it. The labs were not too long and fun to do but the reports were so hard and made me contemplate dropping the course, but Gossage and my TA were great.

I really enjoyed having Dr. Gossage for CHY344. 30% quizzes (top 3 of 5), final exam 40% and obviously labs 30%. Quizzes were easy and there are easy bonus marks as long as you read instructions. Labs were very short, but the formal reports were brutal. I didn't study as much for finals which is why I did kinda bad. No breaks but class ended early.

Man's the GOAT.

Awesome prof! Funny and knowledgeable. Tests are fair. Nothing tricky, just the stuff from lectures/assignments.

He's funny and nice. Go to class and keep up with the work!

If you want to learn organic chemistry the proper way don't take this teacher.Most people will have to self teach themselves.

Gossage is strange, tacky, odd, everything a chem prof should be. His tests REQUIRE you to read the instructions, doing so gives bonus points as well as doing less work. Make sure you can spell the periodic table, as he takes marks off if you cant. Go to every class, because theres always something on the final about some random thing he said

He is awesome. Its fun to be in his class. he melts gummy bears and screws with people without being mean (in a fun way). nost importantly hes clear and never messes around on tests with stupid tricks. He tests the core material so go to class. do the homework. and expect an A if you keep it up

Hilarious, caring, clear, and most importantly, he does a great job at teaching chemistry, he really knows his stuff!
