David Greatrix

Had the pleasure of being Dr. Greatrix' student while completing a graduate degree in the mid 2010's (so no, I did not course AER716). He was an absolutely fantastic professor, and human being. He passed several years ago, but he definitely left a mark on the students he taught.

Miss you uncle , I miss you everyday ! My fondest memory is when I wrote gibberish on a piece of paper and asked you to bring it back to me next year at Christmas despite its irrelevancy. Next year came , and I was shocked you brought it back to me !! Gentle soul and loving uncle ! The holiday is hard but you'll be here in spirit .

Don't understand. Seems like a genuine funny character but falls short on being a professor and teacher. Tests are ridiculous, no part marks, boring lectures. Seems like he knows his stuff but doesn't care enough to teach it. after about a few weeks only a few people show up for his lectures

His class notes are clean and understandable, which makes sense considering he writes textbooks. Classes are open note, main key to surviving his class is that most of your marks, if not all come from your results- Few part marks, no tolerance on sig digit rounding early on. Be careful, follow the text he gives you, and you'll be okay.

You'll meet him first in 615 then realize you have him again... then later find out you have him for propulsion too. OH GOD WHY!! hard tests, assignments, and final

Professor not helpful at all, made the material extra hard than needed, assignments are useless, no learning and most of the time you end up writing mathematical essays or copying for all night. He knows his stuff but cannot teach, need a better prof for this class

Not a bad guy. Just watch out for his tests.

extremely rough midterm.. average ~30%.. text book is useless as notes have different formulas, and tests are based off notes. and his moobs are grossly distracting in tight polo shirts. However, the project was extremely enjoyable and definately easy marks (compared to tests but lots of time was also spent on the project)

Very Hard. Final exam and midterm is a killer. Project was a fun and easy marks. midterm average was 35%.
