Gordon is definitely very knowledgable about his field and is clearly passionate about it. His lectures can get pretty brutal. Not his fault, I just had 0 interest in photography. Assignments have clear expectations and he is very flexible if you communicate with him. He genuinely cares for his students and empathizes with them.
I have taken two of this professors economic courses at Humber College. He is a very hard marker, and lectures are VERY LONG. He does not allow technology, meaning no lap tops or phones.. He takes all exam questions from the study guide, so you dont have to go to class. BEWARE OF GROUP WORK IN THE EXAM. NO ONE GETS OVER A 50%.
He was one of the best teachers i had. he is clear about what he wants in his assignments and gives you all the material you will need for the midterm and exam. 60% of midterm and the exam you will surely know before going to them. In the end i would just like to say take good notes and follow his slides.
He is very smart, explains everything and enthusiastic, will go beyond the course material if the discussion takes it in that durection and this is where it gets annoyin cuz some questions he asks are not included in the textbook but are from his lecture discussions 20% on the final was a lecture discussion stuff Write everything he puts on blckb.
hard prof... half of the test marks are 2 or 3 long ass writing questions... i would not take the course with him...
took ecn104 and ecn204 before; he gave you solutions to the questions he might ask in the midterms, however, EXACT WORDINGS are needed. Or else, he is going to give u low marks even you wrote the ideas from his slides/lecture or txtbk in your own words.
Good prof. Uses his presentations more than a text book. Learn his ppt's and you will be fine.
