Great Prof! So kind. Class was super easy. I love how she gives two tries to do the online quizzes. Went to her office hours and she is so chill. Also really passionate about her subject however her lectures can be long, and the way she speaks might put you to sleep lol. Overall, you're going to be fine in her class, just put the effort in.

Absolutely love Professor Ong and is arguably one of the best professors at TMU. Her lectures are a bit long and admittedly she does go off track sometimes, but she's filled with so much enthusiasm you can tell she loves her job. Very easy to follow the course as everything was posted online for reference including the quizzes.

Lmao I don't understand the other reviews saying that they didn't learn anything. I learned a lot from her labs and lectures, so were ya'll just not paying attention? Professor Ong was absolutely caring and set up a good semester with lectures and labs to learn from. If you choose to not read through anything then that's on you.

I read recent comments and had to sign up to comment. I attended almost all her lectures and labs, one thing I'll say is she may not be like other professors but it is untrue to say nothing was learnt. She is very knowledgeable and following her attentively during lectures, lab was useful. Yes, not the absolute best but not terrible like described.

you might get a high mark BUT SHE IS ONE OF THE WORST PROFS IN PUBLIC HEALTH and i have to see her 2 more times next semester!!!! I also hate the way she teaches

You will 1000% finish with an A+ but will not learn anything from this class. I genuinely fear for the public health of Toronto after having her this semester. Set me up for failure for next semester fr

I absolutely loved Dr. Ong and hope to take more of her classes in the future. There is a lot of work that needs to be done, but she gives you the entire semester to submit things, so if you stay on top of things you'll be fine. The class itself is very straight forward, just memorize the notes and you'll be good. She's also really flexible.

Very sweet, caring prof. Her midterms are straightforward. With that being said, she tends to talk about irrelevant things during lectures and continues to elaborate on it for the next 10 minutes. I do like her marking scheme though, very generous prof.

Amazing professor! She really cares about her students and their success. She is very passionate about the course and often give practical examples in classes that would help the students understand the concepts taught in lectures better. In terms of the midterm and exam, there is a lot of memorizing and need more time to study.
