I found this the most confusing course over my four years at Ryerson. Random info that can be googled (e.g. max size of a floating point) are riddled across the examinations. The code/slides he use are very sloppy (errors and mistakes); he also does not update. The material itself is important for jobs but the clarity and instruction was lacking.

Great professor, really knows about SQL and he teaches it well too. Go to class regularly and ask for help when needed, as he always provides assistance. Overall, the course was a good learning experience.

Great guy, teaches you well. Come to class-do the labs/assignments and you will get an A. If you cheat/copy the labs you're setting yourself up for failure. I did fairly well and had NO idea what SQL even was. Very fair and understanding. I've strongly advise to take him. Moss, like others said is very...."different"

Great Prof, very underrated. He teaches you concepts that should be taught from the beginning unlike Ray Moss. Do the weekly labs, practice for 2 days before the midterm/final and you can easily get A+. The assignments are hard so start on them right away! Like other people said, he replies to emails late at night (around 12AM) every day.

Good prof, I've had moss before and this prof is WAY better then Moss. Moss is a fool, rants on and just keeps talking nonsense. Jankovic actually cares about his students and replies back to emails with a ton of care. Midterm/Final was difficult but fair. Attendance is MANDATORY! DO NOT TAKE MOSS!

This professor is so advanced compared to moss. He wants his answer strictly according to his style of teaching. He does not tolerate late submissions or in any other format. He replies to emails late, in class if you ask a question he will try to answer by asking another student. Do Not take this course with him. You are better taking another clas

This guy does'nt explain the codes clearly, and expects you understand it, and every time someone asks a question in the lab he responds by saying "check books online". I don't recommend this prof, he makes things seem more complicated than they really are.
