Curtis is an awesome Prof, very passionate about what he lectures about, and is a very real person that's easy to connect with. Pay attention in lectures and put in honest work to his assignments and you'll do very well.

Definitely a teacher who loves what he's teaching. I took this course while still in 12th grade and he never once spoke down to me and was super helpful about navigating university!

Curtis is awesome. He cares about you and wants everyone to do well. He is entertaining and a great teacher. He literally teaches other people how to teach, so that should tell you something. He makes class easy to understand, and makes lectures enjoyable. Would definitely recommend

A really good professor. Always there for his students. Only wants students to do well, with very helpful guidelines. Would definitely take one of his classes if available. Just make sure to study all the readings and slides that he posts.

ONE OF THE BEST PROFESSORS AT RYERSON. Gives amazing lectures, approachable, funny, kind, clear and very fair. However, make sure you read the textbook well, since his midterms are based on lecture and textbook. He tells you exactly what he wants for his essays and provides you with every info you need to ace it. highly recommend him.

AMAZING PROF! 100% Recommend! His lectures are clear and detailed but not at all boring. His exams are very fair! The way he explained it was 70% of the questions on his exams are things he has taught in class. Basically if you showed up and listen to his class you'll pass. The other 30% is based on readings. He designs his class so students pass!

Greatest prof I have ever had at Ryerson.

He's a great guy and great prof. Gives great feedback to improve your writing. Very passionate about what he teaches and he won't hesitate to help you. He's serious about attendance and doesn't like people who come late though. But respect him, and he'll respect you!

He is seriously the best professor I had at Ryerson by far. His lectures are amazing and he really tries to engage the whole class in very interesting discussions. He is very funny and dramatic during his lectures which keeps things interesting. He will look at every perspective and address multiple issues and ideas too. Awesome professor!

Best prof I've had so far. He makes it clear what he is expecting with our assignments and exams so there's no way to fail unless you don't try. He really seems to understand his students and is very relatable and humourous. His lectures were the best. I was looking forward to his class each time.
