Good prof but very confusing lecture style. Habit of pulling examples from the textbook and working through them the entire class, no real structure. Fair marking scheme, very approachable; a good person overall. The course is intensive, you're not going to skate through it but if you do the work you actually retain the material.
lectures are pretty pointless and confusing. better to stay at home and study on your own because he seems sort of scattered all over. textbook required to do modules which count towards final mark. nice guy but need a quality prof to teach business stats.
Kind, patient and caring instructor. Lots of in class examples to explain concepts. Never condescending always calm, cool, and collected.
AWESOME! He is willing to do anything to help you succeed. If you have any type of issues that is stopping you from succeeding, let him know and he will provide extra help for tests
Great Stats Prof! He is easy going and if you need any help, he will answer in class. His tests are also straightforward and he provides past exams to practice. Moreover, he gives part marks if you show your work. He is there for you to succeed but do your lab hw and readings too. I did not attend all the classes and ended up with an A.
Best Stats professor for someone who is new to Stats! He is definitely really clear, fair and straight-forward. His exams are more student friendly, given that you have done your share of readings and attempted the online homework labs.
Adam really knows his stuff, basically teaches out of the textbook. It helps that he's a great guy and really cares about the success of his students. Tests and exams are extremely straightforward, just like his teaching method and the course in general. Very approachable and friendly. Would take again!
Adam is a really great guy and very approachable. If you can focus and pay attention, his lectures can be very effective in breaking down key concepts. He may assign the occasional small bit of homework, but will spend considerable time taking it up next class to ensure everyones understanding. His exams and quiz's are very straightforward as well.
Adam is lacks communication skills and wastes time dragging out simple concepts. His soft spoken nature makes it very easy to drift off during his lectures. If you have him, I highly recommend reading the chapters thoroughly before class, teach the concepts to yourself and use his lectures as a review.
