Martin Chochinov

Worst teacher that I have ever had at Ryerson! He marks critical writings very hard so if you think this is going to be an easy class it is not. You have to put a lot of effort into your reading & writing in this course or else you are screwed.

Appears to be a nice guy. Marks like he wants to be some tough guy. 5/10 for participation for attending every class but one, and the class average was 8.9 when every class except for two, half the class was empty. Lectures are boring as hell meaning little to NO discussion. So where does one get all this range of marks. Would not recommend.

He is an awesome teacher! Just follow his instructions and you'll do good, he is also very leniant, for example i was on vac one week and didnt submit the assignment and he let me submit it 8 days late w/o penalty! The best prof ive come across at Ryerson so far!

He can be a difficult marker, but he's the best teacher you'll ever have. He's extremely helpful and understanding. You'll need to have a very strong grasp on English for the course/writing assignments. Show up, show interest, and he will reward you. Or not, and he will, because he's just a nice guy.
