Amazing! Make sure to participate in the discussion questions, they really help your grade and are mandatory; super easy.
AVOID! simply just rude and does not care about his students at all.. the course itself isn't bad and you can do well if you keep up with the work but Frank will not help you, is rude in emails (if he even replies) and not organized whatsoever.
I took ECN104 online to take it out of my fall schedule, and given that I had no econ background it was a bit challenging for me. I had to pretty much learn everything by myself through ACDC econ. His notes are a bit outdated and you need to read the textbook if you're lost. his exam wasn't hard but you definitely need to study for it.
I took ECN104 online with this prof.. it is a very easy and interesting course. I personally learned a lot from Youtube videos and other online material. The prof is good and quick to respond to questions quickly and try to encourage students to participate. If you would like to get please do your readings and watch youtube videos of ACDC Econ.
Frank Trimnell is the most monotone professor in ryerson. Even the sound of him opening his Diet Soda sounds better than his lectures! In terms of marking and difficulty is okay, but his lectures definitely do not help. The problem is Microeconomics is a subject where lectures is necessary and Trimnell makes you not want to go.
Without a doubt! The best prof Ryerson has had. He's so caring omg, is he single lol? Hopefully
omg pleasssssssse avoid. he is so boring, he for sure knows his material but you will fall asleep...
Frank is a good prof, sure his lectures are boring but when u start listening to him he actually explains the material really well. The hardest part is that the lecture is 3hrs long and it's pretty hard to not fall asleep but if you can get past that part the class is an easy A.
Good Prof. But fair warning Lectures are long and tend to be boring, he doesn't answer questions during break. But does answer questions during lectures and will go over certain questions if they still remain unclear. Hes very knowledgeable about the material, but teaching methods are not the greatest. Additional problems are always great to do.
Read off the slides, skipped questions and midterms did not reflect the material. If you see his name don't take the class.
