Not sure why so many people not like him. If you actually try in lecture and ask him to clarify during the break, you will understand. He will not just spoon feed you the info. almost got a 100 on the midterm just study study. "If you no study, you fail"
just do the HWRK and quizzes over and over and you will get a good grade. Such a nice guy ngl. Big Jesus guy and if you study, you will be rewarded.
Repeats questions for midterm and final from previous tests. It is easy to understand him if you lock in in class and take notes cuz half the times you won't understand the slides. Midterm and final was open-notes and assignments were ez enough.
sent by the devil himself to confuse students cuz u cant understand his waterbug accent ggs
The professor is knowledgeable of industry but as a lecturer makes it very difficult to learn the material. Is helpful in office hours but class slides are disorganized and very random. Textbook studying is the way to go and YouTube.
Study past midterms and finals for good grades on exams, he reuses a lot of questions. Visit TA's and his office hours to clear up the confusion and contradictions in his trash notes. Try your best to ace the quiz, hmw, and lab marks. Otherwise a really nice prof who gives a lot of real world advice and stories. Create a study group for this class!
Dr. Liu doesn't do many examples in class, and the explanations he does give aren't always clear. He tends to go off-topic, doesn't use the textbook, and isn't approachable in office hours. If you want a good grade, pay attention to his quizzes because he will reuse questions in the midterm/final. Tutorials/Labs will be your friend in this course.
Hes really nice, but his tests can be sometimes unfair.
The professor is very knowledgeable without doubt but it may be hard to understand with his accent. Regardless if you really pay attention and practice all the examples and tutorial problems, you will be fine.
It is hard to understand and follow along when he is teaching which is why a lot of students don't bother attending his lectures (has a heavy accent). He's also a rude person and he told me 'to figure it out' when I asked for help. Would not take again.
