Great prof who gives you amazing feedback on your work. There are 5 quizzes, two group projects, weekly discussion posts and a final exam. The course was relatively easy if you planned ahead for your group projects and studied the textbook/readings. If you want a good grade, please take this course with prof Gordon instead of Prof Carlyle.

he emphasizes good grammar, but every mc question and answer is one big run on sentence that's equivalent to a paragraph the choices for the mc questions are mainly from student's discussion posts so its always "choose the best option" when literally all of them could be right do not recommend this prof at all

I repeat don't take this guys class, he asks for your opinion and tells you your wrong, his multiple choice questions and answers are in paragraph form. Excessive amount of readings he's honestly top 10 worst professors at Ryerson. There is no reason for his rating to be a 2.8 he's pathetic.

So many quizzes with random questions. All answers would be correct paragraphs and he would ask for your opinion but mark u wrong. Unclear instructions for assignment.

This professor is a big freak, first of all he has multiple choice questions that have a paragraph as a question and another 4 paragraphs as options to choose from. The midterm was bogus and his notes suck. Bro should retire no Kizzy freak.

Great professor, but not for online. His modules do not add much value, most weeks have over 100 pages of readings, and the quizzes are VERY HARD- note: not because the material is hard, but because Ian does not pay attention to his own grammar. I probably wouldn't take another of his online classes. Hopefully in person he is better.

A great professor, really cares about his students and overall easy course. Would take again!

Great professor who interacts with the class in a very caring way using awesome examples that help explain the subject matter. Really cares for his students and gives AMAZING hints for the midterms and exams. Great class, great man!

Fair Marker, He replies very quickly in emails and is willing to clarify any issues or concerns with the assignment. He provides feedback and is very engaging with the class.
