His slides are too text heavy and most of the text isn't always relevant to the concepts he tries to teach. He's not very engaging either and sort of ruined what seemed like an interesting and relevant course.
He was a great Prof
Prof gave us about 550 text-heavy PP slides and expected us to memorize everything to the greatest detail for both the midterm and the final. The assignments are stupidly long and hard and he'll make sure he kills your GPA. I haven't heard of anyone in my class getting more than a D so you could assume how bad he is. He doesn't bell curve either
He's very disorganized and doesn't really know how to use d2l, making it even harder to communicate with him.
The notes received from the class are information dense and largely copied from the textbook. Though, not entirely a special thing, the notes proved to be not engaging and poorly optimized for information transfer. The lectures are performed in a slow, mumbled, monotone voice; making staying awake or any interest in the topic impossible.
he confuses himself and students. good course topic but he "organized" terribly.
Professor Lohi was the best professor i have ever had in my life.
He is negatively pessimistic . His behavior discourages students . He definitely has personality issues.
Dr. Lohi is a great prof, however, his way of speaking in front of the class is making me nearly impossible to comprehend. He is great otherwise.
What do you mean he's not a hottie? He's sorta cute! Great guy, great personality, tries really hard to make his students do well...really cares about his classes which is important, esp. in a beginner's class wehn you're not sure about what you're doing!
