By far the worst professor I've ever had in my 4 years at this university. Clearly, no plan goes into lectures; he goes and talks about what may (or may not)be on the slides whilst constantly checking his watch until time is up, where he then chooses to go over the 3-hour time slot and still somehow be behind on the syllabus he created. Never again
This guy is for sure, definitely, no doubt, in the mafia, I'm like 99% convinced. Love him tho, great italian prof. No online presence kinda sus (further proves my point)
Open book midterm n final, having the textbook helps. Final is the same across sections. He def made the course fun. Attendance helps a lot. u chose law n bus as ur major, u cant complain that a boring major is boring u. Try to enroll in his class.
Mostly an asynchronous course(no lectures or very much prof interaction)but is available when needed. The tests are very fair although the 65% final is intimidating. Not really any curveballs on tests and not having to go down for a lecture that can be read through with his modules. Chang law is much better than in-person if you can stay disciplined
LAW 122: Tough exams. Midterms are packed with too many questions and not enough time compared to other professors. His exams are much harder and structured differently from the rest.
Not an easy course. 15% of your grade comes from weekly discussion questions. It was first come, first served. If you're late, it'll be much harder to earn points. It was a terrible system, I ended with 3/15%. The mid-term had 20% weighting, and the final exam had 65%. Take good notes and don't skip the Zoom meeting before the exams, it'll help.
Final exam was marked horribly. No comparisons to prior materials.
Terrible professor. His classes are so boring and content heavy. He does not give any hints as to what will be on the exams, so you have to study everything. I spent hours studying for his exams and came out with terrible marks. I have never disliked a course and professor this much.
I tried really hard to get a good grade and received a satisfactory B for working my behind off! Looking at this profs rating I am astonished because I don't have to try this hard for my primary courses with worse profs and yet this guy managed to make LAW122 Hell. He's gonna make you use lockdown browser for the midterm. Thats all ill say.
Clearly on a power trip. Not sure how they were during LAW122 in person, but online an extremely harsh marker for Chang CLAW122. Barely passed. I don't normally leave RMP reviews, but whatever you do, do not take him for CLAW122 or even LAW122 if this is seriously how he marks for an intro law course.
