Honestly the sweetest professor ever. He truly cared about his students and went over everything they would need on the exam. He explained every lecture and went over textbook questions. all of which were on the exam. I hope he teaches fin400.
Take this prof for every chang FIN course
Course is hard, but professor is good at explaining. Take it from someone who had to do FIN300 twice.. go to his weekly lectures, he will do practice problems weekly and you can do them at the same time as him and let him know if your answer was wrong, he will go through it step by step with you. No prof is gonna make this course easy, study.
Great prof. Tests were self-explanatory and similar to what was discussed in class. Also allowed open-book.
All I did was the in-class problems and the practice exams. Didn't even buy the textbook. Midterm and final questions were the same as the in-class problems and practice exams. Just print the cheat sheet that TMU provides online for the midterm and final. The mylabs are an easy 100%. He posts the in-class problems but I still attended his 3h lab.
The Midterm was easy. Was allowed a cheat sheet. His lectures were useful.
Cool prof, with a good lecture style. Tutorial-like lectures where he works through the problems with you. Midterm is straightforward, attendance isn't mandatory but helps.
I was with him for FIN300 and he wasn't that bad at that time, but 512 contains tons of insurance policies, tests are open book while u don't have time to finish if u don't at least memorize 95% of them. Extremely detailed knowledge hidden in the book :( Two 30% midterms & 40% final consist of mc and short answers with some calculations! Good luck
Super helpful, and really goes into detail about questions and examples in the course that will prepare you well for both the quizzes, midterm, and exam. The course was much easier because of him and his reviews.
This professor is one of the better finance profs at Ryerson. So if you get him, don't drop his class! He really prepares you for the MyITLabs and exam. Thoroughly do all the MyITLabs and practice the questions he assigns; both are needed to be prepared for the exams.
