The reviews are all accurate, she was rude, condescending, would single you out in front of the whole class, & barely answered emails. She ignored accommodations and when academic advisor, AAS advisor, and chairman of the board were CC'd on emails she ignored/behaved the same way. I had to finish this class after the semester was over.

I cannot stand this woman. she has fully made me cry. give her attitude she hates it. even if you go to class you will just barely know whats going on.

Literally the WORST professor I've had in my undergrad so far. In the beginning, she comes off as sweet and caring, but truly does not act that way during the semester. She cannot teach at all and does not grade well. Ignores emails most of the time and comes off as very rude, even if you are super polite. AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS !!!!

Do not take this course with Deirdre!! She literally gives out randomized grades, regardless of whether you did the correct components to an assignment. All my friends would do the same thing for the assignment and somehow end up with different marks that do not add up. She is also very rude and unhelpful. She doesn't change her errors either!

AVIOD HER. Her instructions are not clear at all and differ from what she says in class. You'll start off with getting 100 on everything then all of a sudden you'll get crazy marks with absolutely no feedback. She will not discuss grades with you in person, only by email at the end of the semester. She is very rude and passive aggressive.

This prof is truly awful. She does not mark fairly at all. She is horrible with responding to emails. She pretends to be friendly and care about each student, but she does not take the time of day to assist anyone. She also is very rude and does not explain anything properly at all. Switch classes if you have this prof, she will ruin your semester.

Does not give any clear instruction on assignments. The posted instructions are different from the ones she goes over in class, very briefly. Gets condescending when you ask questions. I went from getting A+ on every assignment to randomly getting failing grades, when questioned she got defensive. Zero feedback and the marking makes no sense.

Nightmare. Awful. I am a straight-A student and never have had an issue with a professor before. You'll start off getting 100% and then you won't receive grades for months. Then when you do, they will be failing marks that make no sense based on your work and do not correlate with the rubric provided. Avoid at all costs.

Wants to be buddy-buddy with students, until you have a question regarding her difficult-to-follow lectures and incorrect assignment instructions (only once in class will she tell you how to correctly do an assignment). She refuses to answer questions in or outside the classroom if she deems it invalid and has a condescending disrespectful tone.
