Martina Hausner

Martina is awesome. Her quizzes and final is straight forward however 30% final weight is too much for a LAB course. ur Grade is most affected by TA. My TA had a stick up her ass so my grade suffered. Tbh good TA = an easy A+. students got 60-75 on lab reports while others 90-100 for about the same level work bc sum TA were more lenient/easy going

She's a nice and accommodating prof. Honestly, I didn't go to many lectures, but when I did, she gave hints about the exam. Chapter quizzes are fair, lab is easy to do well in, she also gave us a THOROUGH breakdown of the exam which was AMAZING because there was no midterm. Some people call her boring, but she's a great prof.

I found her lectures to be quite boring, so I didn't really go to them, but I used the textbook and lecture slides to study for the final, and it was a breeze! It was fairly written and based on the lectures. There were also 5 [online] lecture-based quizzes that were relatively easy, and an easy + fun lab component. Solid prof!

Def could've gotten a better mark but there was no midterm for this class so make sure you review the lecture slides every now and then (mistake on my part). The slides have so much info and she will test you on small details. The focus on lecture quizzes and lab component (easy marks) so you won't have to worry too much for the final exam.

She is a very kind professor, only issue I had was the lectures could be boring sometimes. But, slides are detailed enough that it's all you need for the exam. Tells us whats going to be on the exam (was very fair). Just be careful since there is no midterm so don't fall too behind on the lectures. Quizzes were okay if you read the lectures.

Dr. Hausner seemed very nice, and was very clear on what to expect on the exam. All of the necessary info was on her slides, so the tb was only necessary for review questions. However, her lectures were very dry and were sometimes hard to pay attention to. Do well on the lab component, as it's easy and fun (and the exam will be less overwhelming)

Only went to lecture twice, all the needed info is on the slides. When I did go, she gave hints on what to expect on the test. Very straight forward, simple, and easy assesments. TA will make a greater impact since it is a lab course, but Dr. Hausner made it manageable. People only have issues with her for pointless stuff like her dry lectures.

her quizzes are hard but make sure you go to office hours to take them up cause she explains very well and actually wants you to learn. the assignments are graded fairly. the course is overall not hard and she is caring and accessible outside of class

Shes genuinely very sweet and accommodating, lab assignments were also fair, i just found her quizzes/exam to be difficult, and didnt understand why the final exam (which is written and based on lecture material) was worth 25% for a laboratory course, I felt that she should have put more % towards actual lab assignments as there was only 3
