Extremely well informed professor, gives great lectures.
One of the best profs at Ryerson. Also teaches at York. A lot of work for his class, esp. the paper, but he keeps class interesting, esp. with the "drum" playing. Has a habit of digressing. Very accommodating when it comes to deadlines, you can even deliver it to his house. Because of him, I strongly suggest taking CMUS 505.
The most interesting lecturer about music. Course material is always extremely interesting and class is laid-back and wonderful. Best professor I've had in years
AMAZING! The first day I thought I didn't like him, only to figure this guy has an understanding for music in every inch of his soul. He feels it! If you don't know what that means, then you don't know music. And this course will help you. However it is very hard to keep up with everything. But Jonnie is the man! A very good prof/person!
