Very helpful, gives good feedback. The class itself isn't hard as long as you go to her lectures. She's a fair marker as long as you show that you have put in the effort for your mark!
Just, no. Why is this taught at a university level? Lectures are long and very draining. No class involvement and course description is very misleading. 3 hours a week gone.
horrible !!!!
Don't take the course(LNG 111) thinking it would be easy, unless you like writing writing allot of essays. This course requires much less reading than other liberal courses, well 3 chapters and some grammars to be precise. Read the chapters very well because there will be INCLASS paragraph and 2 essays and they are CLOSE BOOK. Stay on her goodside
It seemed like she was not familiar with the materials. She made a few mistakes which are later corrected by students. However, she treats the students like kids and she doesn't respect them.
Mary is the sweetest, most caring prof i've ever had. She is such a mom! The bad reviews must have come from people who didn't get a good grade. The class is easy, makes you feel like you're back in middle school, but that's mostly the classmates who act like they've never heard of grammar. take this class, nice break from the others. She's so nice
She treat students like they are in preschool.
nice prof... not so easy marker or lecture
She is an amazing professor with a keen interest in helping students do well. She doesn't give up on you and if you require help on an assignment or need exam help, she is more than willing to go out of her way to help you out. Overall great professor and highly recommend her!
OH my God This lady treats everyone as a preschool students! she can't speack english @ all....i donno why the hell is she still teaching in Ryerson! screw her....
