He is an amazing teacher. Have to work for an A but can easily get B. Let's you redo assignment and take the average of both. He doesnt boost from B+ to A- even by 1%. That and the fact that hes boring is the only downfall OVERALL: Take the course with him.
Good prof for cmn 279. He marks a bit hard (no one gets over a 75%), but he gives you the chance to submit revised versions and then takes the average of the original and revised! Also lets you redo one assignment at the end. Also you get 10% for participation (if you do the work). Got an A- after all revisions :) Take him!! :)
Boring subject. Hard to get an A (Everyone got B's on his assignments)in his class but the work is rather easy. He is a very approachable and nice guy. Dont have to buy the book for this class, which is a plus!
Worst prof EVER!!!!! you can never get higher than a B, A just does not exist in his world.Very unclear, monotone, boring. When you send assignments to be remarked, he hardly puts it up and does not explain why!EVER DO NOT TAKE COMMUNICATION WITH CHRIS JACKSON!!
worst prof for CMN took an easy course made it hard bymarking so hard, i couldn't get a single B+ on my frst try only like 2 B+ on assignmnets and that was redo's..TOUGH MARKER AND WONT EXPLAIN WHY YOU GOT THE MARK YOU GOT, AND IF YOU REDO YOU BARELY GO UP
Good prof, nice, etc (what the others said)
Chris is awesome and his work is appreciated. Thanks so much Chris for your help.
He's very helpful when you're doing your assignments in class. His British accent makes the course a lot more interesting. I learn a lot from this class. Anyone who takes it benefits from better grammar and a more business oriented writing style.
He is born for mark your assignments tough enough to fulfill your heart.
If you are good at grammar and writing conventions, this will be a bird course, esp. since there's very little actual homework. For those who aren't, make sure you attend all classes b/c he tells you what's wrong with your assignments; he's like a tutor during class. He's also a fairly nice guy.
