bad teaching, good notes and brutal labs and exams. avoid.
looking back the tutorials were the easiest part, followed by the labs. the exams are poor, too diifcult and even if you do 10 sets of webassign and tutorial problems, you still will be lucky to get a 75. Slides are not the way to teach physics!
He loved to spam simulations every lecture. He always did several iclickers in lecture and gave 2-3 minutes for each one. Tutorials and labs were good and def a grade booster! the waves portion of the course was the easiest to understand imo. the midterm and final were something to say the least.
the notes were good, i bombed the labs and midterm but it was on me, the teaching style quite solid but really outdated too, not enough examples too much theory for my liking, the content isnt super hard you will do fine if you did okay in pcs211.
lowk a good prof that has well organized slides. you honestly dont need the textbook if you have his slides. but bc of his accent it was hard to understand him sometimes, so make sure to review notes and concepts for midterm and finals!!
ok professor, overall his exams are fine, if you are prepared unlike myself.
Better to learn the course yourself.
