To add onto the below comment, HE OWES ME 9 MARKS ON MY MIDTERM.
Get ready to tell him his solutions are straight up WRONG. They are RIDDLED with mistakes and he doesn't show his work so you can't even see HOW he got there. Get ready to spend HOURS contemplating whether you're dmb or just not seeing that HIS work has many mistakes. STOP TEACHING THIS COURSE.
At UWO now. He only gives 1 hour for midterms with long calculations so there is no time to check/correct your work. His slides are riddled with theorems, which are key to know but contain 0 application, and unhelpful, confusing proofs. The practice is past midterms with unhelpful 'solutions'. Needs to restructure the course and his notes.
He is the nicest professor I have met throughout my education. His tutorial materials are very easy to understand. While the exams are of average difficulty, students often face a shortage of time. Despite this, he genuinely cares about his students and always makes time for them. His attitude taught me respect and how to be nice to people.
Two midterms and one final. Had a hard time understanding his accent but he helps out during office hours. Make sure to do your homework as homework is not being graded but definitely reinforces what's being taught. The midterms were easy but the final was slightly harder.
Very good Prof. It would be excellent if exams were easier.
He knows how to teach statistics, very helpful.
Seems like a great guy and obviously knows his subject really well. Only problem is his exams are quite tough. The textbook problems don't compare in difficulty to his questions, so it's kind of hard to prepare yourself. Regardless, if you need help he's really good at explaining one-on-one so definitely go to his office hours.
