The class content is not the hardest thing in the world. IF you put in the work you can do well. The prof however is hard to understand but she's open to additional help. Weekly quizzes and assignments are straightforward.
Although she was a little hard to understand she is a great prof and really teaches well. The practice materials and textbook are very helpful.
Dr. Ning is great, the textbook she choose is really good as well so make sure you read that if you want to do well! She gives plenty of practice to make sure you are studying and I really enjoyed her class. It's really nice if you have friends who are also as interested in the class as you
Professor Ning is the best in the department for ecn627.
The professor has an accent that is extremely hard to understand on top of that she repeats her words 5 times in a sentence and is very quiet you will not be able to hear her at full volume either. I appreciate the recorded lectures but the explanation in them is not understandable but rather more confusing.
This prof is extremely fair for ecn627. Actually she is more than fair. Homework keeps your grade high and is easily graded. Midterm is easy. Final is okay and definitely not hard, I suggest preparing more for the final as that brought my mark down, but my fault not hers. Recommend her!
This teacher is ridiculous she marks hard and almost everyone in the class failed. I advise everyone to stay away from her.
Cathy is soft spoken and quite knowledgable. However, if it wasn't for the online weekly assignments through MyLab I would have definitely failed because her lectures were not even marginally enough to make you understand the content. The exam was long, but not that difficult. Would have appreciated a list of concepts to review.
Cathy is a caring person, but do not mistaken this as one who is a good professor. She has a very difficult to understand accent, and is very quiet. Along with this, she does not respond to emails. Very difficult exams. She gives a lot of homework which is good prep for the exams, but fails to understand quantity does not equal quality.
She can't teach but the class is straightforward. Just make it look like you put in effort on her homework assignments and work together on in-lecture and in-tutorial quizzes. For midterm and final, make a detailed cheat sheet. The class is easy if you do all those things and know some of the material. She's also very generous with bell curving.
