Anna was super relatable and kind, but the final was way too detail-oriented and the marking on the final essay straight up made no sense. I got hit with a 68 and her feedback did not back it up at all, because there barely was any. Do your readings harder than you ever have. If you have the choice, avoid

such a hard marker, and does not give good feedback. the feedback that I would get did not help me much to improve my work. gives such generic comments and sometimes would just leave question marks on my paper instead of actual comments to help me understand what I did wrong

Before taking this class I heard so many terrible things about her. But everything I read was untrue. The textbook is extremely helpful and further explains content from the lectures. She is a fair grader. She's always open to suggestions and comments from students. Midterm and final exam were easy if you studied.

Anna is really kind, she is very lenient when it comes to assignment due dates and a very nice professor overall, you can tell she really cares about her students! She is a little disorganized which can be frustrating at times. Make sure you post your discussion posts on time and youll do fine

Class was only 6 weeks long, and didn't get our midterm tests back until a few days ago (final week of class). Then, today, she posted our final paper mark. Nothing had feedback, so no one knew where they went wrong/why they got the mark they got. She's not a hard marker because I don't think she really marks in general haha. Kind, but disorganized

If there's any way you can take this course with another prof, do it. Her lectures are more than five years out of date (she claims it's a "very complicated process" to update her slides), meaning most of what you learn in this class can't actually be applied to the real world or current practice. She's also wildly disorganized, just avoid.

A nice woman and very passionate about what she teaches. However, she has high expectations in terms of essays & assignments - ask LOTS of questions! She does care and will work with you to help you succeed, but her answers & guidelines are still vague. Email response time isn't all that great. Tests are fair - normal. Content isn't especially hard

Horribly disorganized, would have to send 3 emails just to get her messages across in full. Little in the way of direction on assignments and extremely harsh grading. Avoid if possible.
