Did not mark it correctly. Cried multiple times.
Jagg's a very eccentric instructor with a lot of journalism knowledge and experience. Her marking is very arbitrary though and a lot of the time her feedback is just simply unprofessional and not constructive at all.
Jagg is knowledgeable in the journalism industry, and this is clear with her demonstrated experience. However, when it comes to expectations of students and consistent grading, she misses the mark. She is a tough marker and provides harsh feedback. Get ready to receive arbitrary marks and feedback that don't align with assignment expectations.
Jagg is a great person who does her best to help students do better by breaking down assignments and telling you what she is expecting. A tough marker at times but gives constructive criticism on the feedback. Overall a very nice a fun person who loves what she does.
Jagg acts as though everyone already has the same level of experience as her, she talks in a condescending way and has no problem calling people out in a rude way for work they did wrong. Don't go to her for any explanation of why or how you got a grade, because all you will hear is "well that's just how it is". Unhelpful, condescending, L prof.
Jagg is knowledgeable and a veteran of the industry. However, class-wise, she seemed to be unorganized, and a bit lost in what was going on. Humour can also be a bit off as it tends to call out certain students repeatedly. Her feedback can contradict itself, as she advised things during work time, but final feedback criticized what she advised.
Jagg is great! Along with being an educational instructor, she is caring and great person to learn from. I had her for JRN 270 and she was the most accommodating when it came to last minute stories, unavailable sources, etc. She'll always help you figure out your problems when it comes to a story and gives great feedback on submissions!
Jagg was great! She is very understanding and caring of personal issues and will accommodate to you if needed. She's one of the favourite TA's I ever had. Her tutorials were fun and interesting. She gave lots of feedback. Sometimes she was a hard marker, but everything else makes up for that.
Jagg is the best! I had her as my lab instructor, and she really helped to introduce us into the world of print journalism. She was understanding given that we were in the midst of lockdowns during our story days. She has a lot of experience and is always willing to give you direction. Take advantage of the vast knowledge she can give!
I had Jagg as my instructor for the 103 lab. It was her first time teaching the lab, so she was new to teaching CP style and such. Overall, she was very respectful and kind. She was willing to meet during the school day and had great feedback, especially during story day. Jagg is a bit of a slow marker so beware, but she's amazing!
