He is a nice prof but his notes are not organized well. His notes are confusing and his second term test was pretty hard.
Organic chem with Easton was a nightmare. I couldn't stay awake and I couldn't understand what he was talking about. However, he was very nice man...kinda silly at times too. Final exam as i remmeber was a compilation of all the questions from the tests and assignments.
Great guy, very approachable and has a sense of humor. His tests are not that hard, some material comes from assignments and problem sets from the textbook. If you do your homework (problem sets that he suggests you practice from the textbook) you are good to go for A+. Also, be cautious, he tends to make mistakes on the assignments, etc.
First of all, John Easton has to RETIRE!!! The damn co-op office doesn't know what they are doing. Very inefficient in finding jobs for students and tries to split one job btwn 3 diff departments. Can't keep promises, googles everything. In conclusion, might as well google your q's rather than seeking their opinion.
He's pretty good, knows his stuff and is well organized.
So laid back, easy to talk to and tries to interest the class, really nice and friendly. Ryerson is lucky to have him. He Loves Chemistry.
One of the best profs ever. Very nice, very helpful, and very lenient.
