Did not participate in online discussions, until the end (literally the night before the exam). Received marks back a week after they were due! Avoid this class at all costs. Prof is unhelpful and does not respond to emails.
He is a good professor! dont have to read the text, he pretty much summaries the book!Summary notes posted are very helpful! i found his exams were fair! and not too difficult. HOWEVEr, he is SLOW! never get any marks on time. wrote final exam knowing only 15%/100. exams done 2 weeks, no mark yet! not even the 2nd test. Very Monotone!
He's a great teacher, I thought. Great lecture notes, explains concepts very clearly, and fair tests. The only fault he has is a somewhat boring monotone voice which can lure you to sleep in a morning class.
Sure he's a bit monotone, but he explains concepts very well, guavas tons of examples to make concepts clear, give amazing lecture summaries, and his tests are extremely fair. I'm repeating this class as well, and so I would think I'd be bored, but I'm not, so thar speaks for itself.
He is extremely monotone. He's really nice but fairly boring
I enjoyed this class and learned a lot from this prof. He's very nice and willing to explain things very accurately. His lectures are monotone, but if your interested in the material, then you'll be interested in the lectures. If you read his summery notes you can get an A, without ever reading the articles. Very specific multiple choice Q's.
Really nice prof, he is boring but if you attend his lectures you will do really well, provides good summary notes, overall good person! not bad as everyone says he is :)
Suchhh a monotone lecturer. I could never focus because of this. Lectrues always made me fall asleep and he assigned readings in the textbook that were just as boring and long as lecture. He really needs to change things up because the topics aren't dull and he could make his class 100 times better
It's true: He is very boring, seldom makes eye contact with class, and needs to learn how to deliver his lectures in a more lively way. However, just sit through the lectures, which are helpful for his tests, and you'll do just fine. Also, course does touch on some interesting topics.
It's true what they say, you'll do better if the prof knows you by name. He knew my name and in a weird way it made it easier for me to do good in that class. Plus, you can't beat his little paper-delivery-boy hat!
