Very sweet man and great lectures, which are mandatory because a lot of content is not on slides. Textbook is also mandatory so its a lot of content altogether. Content requires decent understanding of some science as well which might be hard for psych majors. Not bird at all but a very good course and Trevor is so lovely. Worth the effort!
Like, I am not majoring in health psychology, so I did not want to read over 15 chapters, as it is basically the whole book, which is insane. Exams are cumulative, and you just can't do good. He is a tough grader. Teaching and all is fine but it is a lot of content when he is not gonna give you grades.
Professor Hart is caring and sweet, his exams are kind off hard, but he drops tons of hints during lectures, he has an optional assignment which is helpful. overall, he is great but gotta pay attention in class and lectures to get a good grade.
Made a mistake due to not being written in the assignment outline properly and for that resulted in a direct 50 percent cut in assignment grade too strict and felt like lacks empathy my whole grade is impacted now
Dr. Hart is genuinely the best prof you could possibly get. He's extremely caring and clearly wants his students to well. I've never had a course with anyone as kind as he is and I genuinely recommend him to everybody.
Dr. Hart is fantastic. One of the friendliest and most passionate psych profs I've had throughout my degree. Studying for the final was challenging due to the heavy course material, but he provided lots of hints about the test content during lectures. There were no surprises and all his exams were extremely fair.
Dr. Hart is caring and all the good stuff. But the class is very disorganized, I took this course out of interest but rather ended up losing interest in psychology. 50% from lectures and 50% from videos, textbooks and more makes the course = to writing psych licensing exam. There is an optional assignment but the final exam is tough. Stay away.
I love how caring and enthusiastic this prof is but it is a content heavy course. I'm in a nutrition program but despite my science knowledge, I found the class to be difficult. There are a lot of chapters to read. 50% of test questions are from the textbook and 50% are from his lectures. He cares, but be prepared to spend lots of time studying.
I adore Professor Hart. He cares about the success of his students and was constantly supportive throughout the course. He encouraged us to engage with the content in personally meaningful ways. His lectures were always very interesting and I genuinely enjoyed learning from other students and the class discussions. I'd take any class with Dr. Hart!
