Lisa C. Vettese

She is easily the sweetest human being to ever exist. I've never seen a smile leave her face. She even smiles when she speaks. She is very knowledgeable and friendly. You MUST read the textbook. The textbook is very easy to read and follow so it's not that hard to pass. Everything you learn in this class will help you in other psych courses.

She is a very knowledgeable person. Her course had a clear message and her tests were not unfair. She is an excellent soul and I wish her the best. Also, she is a therapist and from her class I can say that she should be fantastic in practice too. Love her so much.

She only available to help during the lecture break or end of class. I seriously do not think she has much time for extra help. Her tests were hard, class avg. was always between 60% - 65%. Her tips for exam won't help you at all. study hard to get a good grade folks!

She is a very nice, understanding and relatable teacher. Her lectures are very helpful, but studying only the textbook can help pass the test. She looks like an easy marker, but don't underestimate her. She uses relationship examples a lot during her lecture, which i found strange.

Lisa is a friendly approachable prof. She's willing to help any student with anything they need. If you study, exams are decently easy. She does everything exactly by the textbook, so as long as you read it you'll pass. Group project and marks for attendance/research studies were kind of annoying but it made for easy marks. Overall good experience!

Worst. Teacher. Ever.

Exams aren't super hard if you study. Group project is a pain in the ass. Lecture is a mirror of the text book but also pretty interesting discussion (except for all the old ladies who won't shut up). Obviously a part time prof, not as into it as some others but thats ok

Finally, for all u students who love psych, but do not perform well on the MC exams, here is the prof. for you. Prof. Vettese is one of few who utilizes all forums of learning to engage her students. Although 65% of your mark is based on tests, you can redeem yourself by showing up, particp, writing a good paper and doing a kick ass presentation!

Summer 2010: This professor is wonderful, respectful, totally approachable, friedly,great jokes, EXCELLENT LECTURES, intelligent, professional. Lisa, if you ever read this, I hope Ryerson will keep you there for years to come because you are an excellent professor and a wonderful human being. Thank you for your great lectures.

Great prof. Kind and respectful. makes coping with stress class interesting. Go to the lectures b/c half of the tests are about what she says that is not neccesarily in the book. Kind of hatd but fair tests.
