She is just a part time prof at Ryerson, but she thinks she is as good as those full time. I do not recommend her for any of you because she won't do you any good
She's extremely helpful and is willing to go over the material till its clear. The course itself is kinda hard so it is recommended that you attend class. Her tests were fair especially because she makes solutions to all problems available.
Annie is the best professor I have had so far. Taking her class is the smartest choice. Her goal is to teaching other than to fail the student. You don't need to worry too much about fail the course, as long as you study hard. She tries all her best to let you learn everything in the book. I wish all the professor are like her.
She's very helpful, but to benefit you need to read the text/do the problems in advance. If you're looking for a good lecturer, don't take her. Her classes are dedicated to working out examples. At times she rushes slides, which is useless.. but she dedicates her time to the class: she once missed a class, but made 2 make up classes for that day
she is a great teacher. I think she is one of the better ones for 414. As long as you study her midterms are prtty straight forward. but can be very long. The final exam was not too bad. I would recommend her over the other proffs.
This teacher gives killer mid-terms. It's not that it is not a hard mid-term but the time of 1.5h is by far too little!! Do not take it on-line with this prof because you have to download the exam, print it, do the exam, type answers(not MCQ) on to the computer and upload. Maybe if it was a paper exam it would be okey.
Waste of time! Rushes through everything, skips vital information, spends too much time on administrative things, overall pick another prof if you want a good grade.
Midterms were really hard, Final seemed easier. Quizzes were okay if you did the quizzes on the book's site/ study guide. She learns everyone's names and is friendly, which is motivating. The course is tough! theres too much to cover, so she ends up talking too fast... and the textbook works better than Valium. KEEP UP WITH THE PROBLEMS, SERIOUSLY!
tests are too hard...take with cheryl dyson...she doesnot test on everything... dyson is the best prof
