I found the exams and grading to be challenging. The MC and matching questions were difficult, and it was hard to improve since we didn't see which answers were wrong. The essay marking also felt very strict. It also felt difficult to raise my grade after the first assignment, as marks seemed to stay in a similar range.

This guy marks like someone ate his whole family, for a lower liberal you'd expect some ease but expects extremely specific criteria. Please man

He is an amazing professor! He genuinely cares about his students success, and is always ready to help. He makes his lectures very enjoyable, and explains concepts well with detailed examples. He responds to emails, and provides clear feedback on assignments, and essays. The assigned readings, and plays were all very interesting!!

Dr. Springer legitimately is one of the best professors I have ever had. His lectures are engaging and interesting. He only tests you on his lectures. His expectations are clear, and he is happy to discuss your approach to assignments in office hours. I'm not an English major, but he made the class enjoyable rather than stressful. Would recommend

He was fine, I guess. I am not too upset about the grade or with any teacher being a hard grader. However, I did do an assignment, and I felt he was offended and did not give me the mark I should have received. It was an essay about OnlyFans, which expressed my negative feelings towards it, and he seemed to make it like I did not have the right.

HES LITERALLY THE SWEETEST PROF EVER!!!! I find some English classes boring lol but this class is my fav class ever. His criteria for assignments are really straightforward and just make an effort to go to class and take notes if you wanna do well in his class. AGAIN HES LITERALLY THE KINDEST PROF IVE MET, you won't regret taking his class!!

Dr. Springer was an amazing professor, he made the lectures vibrant and enjoyable. He really cares about the material he teaches.Follow the rubrics and you'll get a great mark, final and midterm online through D2L, easily accessible outside class and light marker.

He's the best English professor at TMU. He wants his students to succeed and makes the class very enjoyable. Go to lectures live it's worth it since you got to wait for Godot.

Sean is a sincere prof who is genuinely interested in what he teaches. He made the class fun overall by diversifying the course content by having us watch movies, read short stories, etc. He's very straightforward, if you make an honest effort in his class, you will be rewarded for it. His feedback is also really helpful. Would recommend!
