ok, if your muslim dont expect to get A. new materials and ideas that takes the time to understand especially leile ahmeds book. Prof is nice and offers help if you ask.

challenging course but high learning curve - i got an A despite not doing so well on the midterm but dont worry because the assignment and final are graded pretty easy

Easy Breezy B baby! I just prepped for exams and Prof is not a tough grader - but if your like a business student or engineering, umm, ya its a tough course - pretty easy otherwise

Finished this course with an A- I highly recommend it for fellow nursing students - especially as a way to gain cultural competence with Muslim women patients. Follow the study guide people! - she basically gives you the questions so you don't have to do all the reading!!

For sure lots of readings but the lectures are clear. Mid term was HARD but I think prof grades the assignments and participation grade pretty easy.

Easy if it's the only course otherwise very time consuming and tough. Ass. 2 wks early if feedback needed but "Good Work" and generic comments. Mid term, 2/4 short essay and and 10 mc 1 mark each. Final, 2/4 short essay and 2 must essay Q's. exam Guide, 1 wk prior, has almost everything in it. 1 reader, 2 text must be read to pass. Diff. to catchup

She is a fair grader, enjoyed the course. Read the assigned books and be sure to write your essay effectively. Fair marker and gives you feedback when you need it.

The expectations she had were way too high! There were way too many readings and the questions on the tests and exams are way too hard even after suffering through those readings. Incredibly tough grader even after you put your all into an assignment. Not helpful or clear either.

Do not take this class!! You have been warned! Way too much reading to keep up unless you plan on only taking this class and doing nothing else with your life. Exam questions are impossible to answer based on the amount of reading. No one can retain that much info. Articles are confusing and hard to read.
