A great experience overall. Very quick feedback on projects, lets you know exactly what he expects. If you follow his recommendations you will do well. Has a good sense of humour. Show your effort and he will be on your side.
Boooo. Unnecessarily low and difficult marker, gives utterly incomprehensible answers to questions relating to the work. Make everything look like it's from a design magazine, forget content and you'll do well.
Doesn't seem to care for those who just wants to zip by and pass, but will be extremely helpful and informative if you show interest. Expects excellent work much like the rest profs. Manage your time wisely and follow the guidelines and you will do well. Often goes overtime in his lectures but don't skip them, it's helpful for sure.
lectures are incredibly boring, assigns tons of work, doesn't actually teach anything and his instructions are contradictory and make things way more complicated than they need to be.
Should not be teaching, he is absolutely useless. His lectures are boring, he doesn't help you and his TA's are useless aswell. Follow the outlines and you'll get a good mark. Just know you will be teaching yourself how to do everything
This prof has no flavour in his teaching style and does not make the class exciting for students. Does not realize how much work he is assigning to the class and the amount of time needed for assignments in studio, therfore there is no time to attend his classes or learn anything from his class because it is so rushed!!!!
Verbanac can be stiff in teaching style (no interesting anecdotes) but he makes up for it in technical knowledge. Remember he is a part-time instructor and he is a planning professional so that is part of the reason for his "no-nonsense" approach. As previous people have stated, follow the outlines for his assignments and you will get a good mark
do exactly as the outline he hand out at the beginning following the format and content requirements and you're garanteed to pass. put some genuine effort in and you will do good.
great instructor, he tells u everything u need to know. very knowledgeable.
One of the part time profs in the program. His teaching style is more or less like Dr. Springer's. Your questions will be answered with open-ended answers that WILL require you to think (IMO it's a good thing, Uni is for you to learn through thinking!). Lectures arent too helpful though.
