As long as you attend his lectures and practice all the questions it's really straightforward to get a good mark in this class. The quizzes were really simple and the midterm was based off similar questions from the quizzes.

He is a good professor who makes lectures interesting and funny.

the goat of fin300, sweet and provides students with lots of material to practice, he explains things really easily, and the midterm was fair. he makes one too many bad dad jokes at 8am, but if you just go to class and do some review i promise you'll pass.

An excellent professor whose passion for finance is clear in every lecture. He makes challenging concepts easy to understand and keeps lectures engaging. Classes can run a bit long, but it's never an issue. Attend regularly, take notes, review them, and you're guaranteed to do well.

He's actually pretty funny and he makes difficult concepts understandable. You NEED to go to his class to do well though-his slides are basically useless. I also dont appreciate how he yaps about how many students fail every year, but other than that, prof.Terry is a good instructor and seems passionate/educated in his field.

Spends half the class talking about people not coming to class and bragging about how many students fail every semester.

He makes early morning classes less draining. He's funny and teaches in a way where you can actually understand. Doesn't read off of slides , the course material is just alot of practice but the ‘hardness' of the class is out of his control.

Overall a decent professor but gets way too hung up on students not showing up to class. The constant complaining about "invisible students" takes away from the lecture when in reality, students not attending class isn't personal. Annotated slides are also not posted which can make studying harder even if you attend all classes.

fin 300 is hard if u don't go to class is what i would say. prof makes it easier when he explains everything and enlightens the atmosphere with his jokes. He is really nice even when u ask questions, he answers very respectfully. I am usually lost but even I felt smart when I went to his class. choose him even if its early timings, 100% worth it
