ATTEND HIS LECTURES! He shares valuable information during them, I barely even read the textbook but got 90s just because of his lectures. He takes material step by step so students understand. Exams are straight forward but not super easy. He wants his students to succeed and that reflects in his amazing teaching! Love him!
Prof Webb is very caring and understanding of students. during the first week of class, he knows that students are still "shopping around" and uses his time to convince us to stay in his class. Course has no textbook. its vital you attend the lectures if you want to do well. trick questions may arise. make sure you listen to everything he says
You learn exciting things in class. Attendance is taken, but it does not contribute to a grade. He is a very funny professor, tests have trick questions, just read carefully!! BUY THE textbook, it has all the important codes and information needed for the test. Pay close attention in class if I can get an A+ so can you!!!
you have to attend his class if you want to understand the material. his exam are fair, but he has tricky questions so beware of that. i sat in the back of the class the whole sem and didn't find it hard to hear him. fast marker, but he takes so long to go through the slides
Pay close attention on how he explains definitions/court decisions. You for sure need the textbook as his slides are not too detailed. Did well in the first test, and he is very precise on language. Make in class notes as if youre transcribing. it's a full 3 hr lecture so it can get dreading, but overall i recommend this course for group 1
I've had him for three classes and all three classes have been great! He is passionate and an expert on the topics, he ensures everyone understands and remembers the topics by repeating the topics. You have to go to the lectures to make sure you understand the material and also study the textbooks carefully. He is a fair and reasonable marker.
Kernaghan's LAW525 class is informative and engaging. Attending lectures is key - take detailed notes as his teachings really stick. While tests can be challenging, using resources like Unstuck study alongside the textbook can make a big difference. Overall, a worthwhile course if you put in the effort.
Tests were all very fair. You'll have to show up to class, reading the textbook isn't enough. You don't need to read all the dense legislation/case law in the textbook, only what he focuses on in class and skim through the rest. Can be a bit sassy but nice prof overall.
Show up for class, listen, and read the textbook; you will do well. Most stuff he talks about is on the test and he is somewhat precise with what he is looking for. He throws some trick questions in tests but its pretty straightforward
