She's a really nice person but the course content was solely textbook readings and readings of our answers to questions posted, I didn't feel like I learned much. Additionally, she is very disorganized, grades are posted very late and our final exam wasn't even posted on time. Overall, easy content to learn but did not enjoy the style of teaching.
Audrey is a nice professor but is very disorganized. Her lecture slides are pulled straight from the textbook and her actual lectures are her reading our responses to the slides rather than teaching it.
She just reads off her slides that are directly lifted from the text book. No work required but you might die of brain atrophy
If you're looking for a bird course, take anything with professor Huberman. But she's too dumb to be able to teach anything so don't expect to learn much.
This professor was lovely! As I took her class online during COVID I did not experience her difficult midterms/exams/no slide posting; however, she was always very kind and cares about her students. This semester was quite heavy on writing but it really wasn't difficult or too much work at all! I would definitely take her classes again.
Audrey is a great professor! She is very knowledgeable and a great lecturer. The textbook is required for assignments and weekly discussion boards.
she is a great prof and very experienced in the industry. Although DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE AS AN ELECTIVE!!! It was a big mistake, I spent so much time reading, studying, and paying attention to detail. Unless you want to learn about families in Canada in very much detail with several readings and 3-hour lectures than I would stay far away.
Audrey was an overall great prof. Her midterm and final exam was very straight forward and tells you what to study before hand. Assignments are easy and clear and she gives the marks back within a reasonable time period. She does not post the slides so attendance is technically mandatory but she always let us leave a half hour early
Overall Audrey is an okay professor. Her powerpoint slides are clear, concise and are basically a transcript of her lectures. If you follow her slides and listen to her elaborations in class you will do well. My criticism is that lectures aren't intellectually stimulating, making course content a little dry and merely surface level.
