Introductory Tax final exam questions were copied directly from Advanced Tax (742/842) textbook. Pg 612, problem 13. Pg 683 Problem 9. Pg 923 problem 1. Required understanding material not covered in 522 textbook/class. Who's calling him fair????
Doesn't teach! He gives 522 students the same handouts he gives 742 students, just changes the top line! 522 exam questions were directly from 742/842 textbook! Reads handouts line by line then does assigned q's by asking "whats the answer?" and smirks for 3 minutes until someone answers. Miscalculates _everyone's_ final grade! Check your final!!!!
Masters is excellent for this course. His quizzes and exams are fair and are based on the material assigned/teached in class. He is not out to trick you. Do your homework and pay attention in class. Strongly recommended.
Masters is a great prof. Had him for 522 and 742, hoping to get him for 842 as well. very straight forward, read the book and know the basics of the tax act and you will be fine. not out to trick you. hmwk is a must for any ACC class, tax is no exception.
Subject is interesting and very useful. Nice guy. Examinations are straight forward. Midterm, 2 Quizzes, Final. Overall a decent prof. Sometimes can't hear what he says very well. Do the work and read the text and the course will be easy.
Subject is hell. Professor knowledgeable and kind
Good prof, I got the mark I deserved, I put in work. Better than Sydor, but he's not there to spoon-feed you a free A or B, earn that yourself, do the HW, and study, its not that hard. If you have a decent-good study habit, you will at least get a B-. No Word of Lie
Took 742 with him and 842 was pretty much the same. A quiz, hand-ins, midterm and final. Class is pretty boring and you basically have to learn everything yourself because I couldn't hear him in class. Continuous practice is key. Tests are fair and he is not out to trick you. Not the greatest, but I'd take him over Sydor.
Tests are reasonable, straight-forward, and no tricks up his sleeve like some other profs. Study hard and you will get the grarde you need.
