Amazing course with lots of information, so be prepared for the challenge.
This is a graduate course under high demand by eng students from biomed program in addition to chem eng. Lectures are well prepared and well presented, and professor has amazing teaching style and ability to get everyone interested and engaged in the lecture. be ready to do lots of ready and writing reports, but there is no final exam.
I attended this course during Spring, and I really enjoyed the amount of engineering materials that were presented. By far it is one of the best courses offered in our department taught by top professor. I will take all courses offered by this professor.
Great Professor, hands on experience, very knowledgeable, amazing lectures, lots of useful course materials, highly recommended if you are studying chemical engineering with passion
Wanted to rope it with this prof at times. Also seems to lack any capability to understand student suffering/stress. Concept solutions are presented horribly which makes a relatively easier course (compared to mass transfer) hard af. Does his best to explain a course thats been condensed twice. Ace the midterm, pray during final, gl.
Will give so much focus during lectures on one topic, and then test students on a completely different topic that he barely covers, horrible professor, does not care for or about his students one bit.
He explains very well and knows the course materials by heart. furthermore, course materials were well prepared and easy to follow. We had the course in new building (Carlton) that was not fully ready to handle interactive classes such as this one. Very professional and laid back. I look forward to taking more courses with this professor.
Not my fave prof but he isn't hard. The marking criteria was straightforward as can be. His lectures aren't great (didn't help we were in a theatre with no podium), but the tutorials are useful. Skip class? That's fine. Do not skip tutorials!! The book is a great reference, easy A if you keep up with end of lecture and example problems.
As a professor, he does a good job teaching the content and he is really funny. Exams, assignments, and quiz questions are all fair and straightforward. With that said, he hasn't responded to any emails all semester. If you want to talk to him you better ask him in class.
This prof has a lot of side gigs so he is not the most responsive to emails but he's great none the less.
