John Love

He is a really good professor and makes lectures very engaging. However if you slack off in his class you will struggle. Stay up to date on the assignments and you will do well.

If you express your goals to him and work hard, you should get an A. He's a very understanding and helpful professor!

Prof Love is excellent at being fair to everyone even if that means the individual has to suffer. He is critical in his feedback, and takes his time to think and speak, something most profs lack. If youre stuck with him and are a lazy person, I suggest you drop out. He is strict with rules and will not bend them regardless of the situation. 7/10

BUS800 was definitely one of the hardest if not the hardest course I have taken during my time at Ryerson, however, professor Love was the best choice for this course.

I did not LOVE this prof. Seriously do whatever it takes to get another prof for BUS800.

John was a good prof for BUS800 online. He provided feedback and answered his emails promptly. There is a lot of material make sure to get the textbook. He tests a lot on that. Hes a fair marker in all assignments and gave a great semester virtually!

I was given two marks on my midterm by mistake, one by John and one by a TA. John gave me a 63 while the TA gave me an 83. They used a completely different marking rubrics. Your marks should matter on your work and not who is marking it. He does not accept late assignments even by 1 minute and is unclear about almost everything.

Nice guy but his lectures need improvement. They really won't help you with the group project or individual project the course material is not easy to understand and the book is not much better.

Take his advice and start the individual project right from the get go. Group project and individual assignment are so much work and the lectures will not help you understand how to complete. But If you ask him early on for clarification he's very approachable and will help you.

John Love is the worst. I barely learned from his lecture and his assignments. Students have to go to his lecture getting attendance marks by doing the in-class assessments and answering his questions on class. He gives folks like 50% even lower for group assignments. Tough marker. However the average GPA. Avoid him at all costs, please!
