Had him for Regional Analysis of Canada. Fantastic Prof. Makes a somewhat dry course very lively! He won't hand you grades on a silver platter but if you attend all the lectures you'll do well. His test style is straightforward and easy to prepare for.
LOVE HIM! Awesome teacher! Attendance to lectures is key! if you attend all his class you will do great! At first he comes across a bit cold, but he warms up and is a really great prof who knows the material!
For the most part he's interesting and I ended up learning quite a bit about the real world that I didn't know before. He's very funny and relatable. I'd suggest not even buying his texts if you attend class and take good notes.
Awesome prof! He's absolutely hilarious! No midterm or final exam, only 3 tests. Material is provided for essay. No research required! Course is not easy but not super hard either. For tests more weight placed on notes than text. Highly recommended for an upper liberal! Not for ESL though as he has a strong accent and speaks fast.
Extremely funny prof. His Irish jokes made me laugh so hard. He is somehow able to melt the course materials with real-life issues that we can all relate to. But you need to take some good notes cause he talks fast. To those with poor English skills: please, this is a university course, you are REQUIRED to read and write like a university student.
absolutely amazing, if u find a better course/prof, i'll legally change my name to whatever u say
Grate prof! I took two courses with him so far. He is a grate teacher, funny, interesting material. He likes people who come to class. He will remember you if you show up all the time and give you a good participation mark. Try to speak up. Take good notes - all you need to get A! Put some time into paper - he likes to read what he talks about.
What a great sense of humor. Great guy! This course is based on lectures and lectures only. No textbook, some paper readings are mendatory. The workload is not bad, make sure you attend lectures and paricipate in class discussions, he marks participation. Material is interesting. Make sure you are good note taker, (I cannot stress enough!!!)
not good for ESL student, mass notes and speaking fast, all exam is writing, short answer and essay question. he is a critical marker.
Great prof. Very intelligent and well read. Knows his topic and many others. You need to attend class and speak up. He's unusually thrifty with participation marks and he does not teach out of the textbook. I highly recommend GEO505 as a liberal course. No exam and reference material provided for the paper.
