Take it through Chang. Midterm and exam are easy as long as you study the modules and know what's going on. Some questions are taken right from the modules. The essay is marked hard, probably to make sure the overall grade isn't too high. As long as you follow the guidelines, you can get a good essay mark.

One of the only profs I'd happily take again. Classes are funny and also engaging. Has an open mind and always willing to help. Just make sure to go to the classes because the midterm and final have things that are talked about in class. Overall, if you're taking a sociology course, take it with Graeme.

Graeme Metcalf was honestly one of the best profs I've had. Classes were always, engaging, and never a waste of time. If you're thinking about taking this course, I highly recommend taking it with him. Definitely one of those rare profs who makes you want to come to class.

interested in what he teaches, good exams, and assignment outlines are clear. while not mandatory, you will benefit from coming to class and joining class discussions. good with communicating deadlines and expectations with students. one of my favourite classes of the semester, arguably because of his great approach to the course. would recommend!

He marked the essay like each mark was taking a year out of his life.

He is a nice guys sure but if you don't come to class and decide to email him. He will infact ice you out, and not reap to your emails which can be very annoying and in called for

Great guy and easy course

Entertaining lectures, but kinda yappy? Still mandatory to attend tho (at least the 2hr block). Midterm and final were ripped straight from the slides. Best way to get a good mark is just to talk to bro, ask questions! Judging from other posts, I think the only reason I did well on the essay was cuz I asked for tips/advice before writing my essay😭

I took as my elective and really enjoyed this class (actually showed up even tho attendence isn't mandatory) if you like movies you will love the content of this class. When it comes to the actual lectures, I was kinda confused on what was important to know/ what was just him yapping, but overall good prof!
