Decent guy. Posts recorded lecture videos from years past so you don't have to go to class. Midterm is entirely based on psets with 0 surprises, and he marks pretty generous too in my opinion. Final is a bit more involved but still fair and based on psets. 2 quizzes fully mcq, do psets and and online quizzes and prep. Easiest 8th sem core elective

Most people take ELE885 due to the lack of a laboratory component in their last semester and don't think twice about the content of the course. However, I found this course to be fascinating and Dr. Fernando was a great lecturer. Easy weekly quizzes keep you up to date with the content. Exams were always fair if you did the homework!

Go to his lectures and do his practice problems. The midterm and final were basically the problem sets with different numbers. For his quizzes, they are heavily based on the lectures so learn the slides. If you actually show up to class, do the homework, and not study last minute, you can do well.

The course is attractive since it has no lab portion (pure theory). Content is easy and there is no need to attend the lectures as they are pretty much reading the slides. You can read them and take notes from home. Practice quizzes prepare you for quizzes only! Midterm and Final were extremely and unnecessarily difficult, nothing like problem sets

try to avoid him. He is good at advitising himself and doesn't care of teaching at all. He never prepare for his lectures, just through whatever he has from past few years. He doesn't have passion in answer students' questions. He never give reivews for you quizs and papers, even through you try to contact him, never response worst prof ever !

Excellent Prof. Very nice guy. Just attend his class, follow his notes, you're set. He tells you what you need to focus on. The course itself is not easy, need to keep up with him, or else its hard to catch up.

Not helpful at all. Exams are recycled from previous years. Quizzes too. Thus, you won't get any of your Quizzes or midterm back. You get to see them that's all. He won't answer any questions during midterm/final. But he WILL make mistakes in his questions. Go figure. Don't take this course if you think it's an easy course and will improve GPA.
